Best under-eye masks in Australia: an honest comparison by price per pair

The best under-eye mask for you is the one you'll use often, at a price per pair you're happy to keep paying. In our check on 26 October 2026, 30-pair jars sold in Australia ranged from A$0.50 to A$1.83 a pair, a 24-pair jar cost A$2.46 a pair, and Kenzina's AM + PM Eye Ritual worked out at A$1.65 a pair.
Last checked: 26 Oct 2026. Prices change, so check the brand's or retailer's page before you buy.
How we compared them
We looked at under-eye masks (hydrogel patches that sit under the eye), not sleep masks. For each one we noted the current selling price on the brand's own site or, for imported brands, an Australian retailer's site. Then we divided the price by the number of pairs. We also noted the wear time the brand gives, the key ingredients it lists, and whether the masks come in a jar or in single pouches.
We make Kenzina masks, so we've kept to facts you can check on each brand's page, and we've said where another brand costs less.
The comparison
| Mask | Pack | Price | A$ per pair | Wear time (brand's directions) | Key ingredients (as listed) | Format |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Petitfée Black Pearl & Gold Hydrogel Eye Patch | 60 patches (30 pairs) | A$14.95 at K-Beauty Australia | 0.50 | 10–15 min | Black pearl, gold, green tea, hyaluronic acid, aloe | Jar with spatula |
| COSRX Advanced Snail Hydrogel Eye Patch | 60 patches (30 pairs) | A$29.80 at Lila Beauty | 0.99 | See pack | Snail mucin | Not stated |
| Kenzina AM + PM Eye Ritual | 2 jars, 60 pairs | A$99 | 1.65 | 15 min | One jar of AM and one of PM (below) | Jars |
| BLAQ Kakadu Plumpers | 30 pack | A$51 | A$1.70 per pack (pack count not stated) | 10–15 min | Kakadu, Illawarra and Burdekin plum, hyaluronic acid, algae, skullcap, gotu kola, green tea, chamomile | Not stated on the page |
| Kenzina Brightening & Depuffing (AM, pink) | 30 pairs | A$55 | 1.83 | 15 min | Vitamin C (3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid), caffeine, Kakadu Plum, hyaluronic acid | Jar |
| Kenzina Age Defying Collagen Boost (PM, purple) | 30 pairs | A$55 | 1.83 | 15 min | Bakuchiol, three peptides, vegan collagen (made by yeast fermentation), hyaluronic acid | Jar |
| Nurse Renee Eyes of Love | 24 pairs | A$59 | 2.46 | 20 min | Marine collagen, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid complex, adenosine, caffeine | Jar with spatula |
BLAQ also sells 15 packs for A$42 (A$2.80 each) and 5 packs for A$29 (A$5.80 each), so the bigger pack is much better value. The same product can cost a different amount at different shops: we saw COSRX's snail patches from about A$27 to over A$45 in our check, so compare a few before you buy.
Single pouches cost more per pair. Mecca Cosmetica's Bright Eyed mask, for example, was listed at A$9 for one mask or A$48 for eight on Mecca's site when we looked on 18 October 2026, but was showing as out of stock online (we haven't re-checked this one). Pouches are handy for travel or a one-off event. For a regular habit, a jar costs far less.
What each one is good for
- Petitfée Black Pearl & Gold. The lowest price per pair we found. It's a Korean brand sold through Australian K-beauty shops, so check the shop's delivery costs.
- COSRX Advanced Snail. A good fit if you already like snail mucin skincare.
- BLAQ Kakadu Plumpers. Built around Australian native plums, with a choice of pack sizes. Buy the largest pack for the best price per pack.
- Nurse Renee Eyes of Love. A well-reviewed Australian option with caffeine and niacinamide. The jar holds 24 pairs, so the price per pair is higher, and shipping is free only on orders over A$150.
- Kenzina. An Australian brand. Every Kenzina mask is vegan, wear time is 15 minutes, and standard shipping is free Australia-wide on every order, with no minimum. Choose by time of day (see below).
Which Kenzina mask to choose
| Brightening & Depuffing (AM, pink) | Age Defying Collagen Boost (PM, purple) | AM + PM Eye Ritual | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Mornings, puffy or tired-looking eyes | Evenings, fine-line care | Both, every day |
| Key ingredients | Vitamin C, caffeine, Kakadu Plum | Bakuchiol, three peptides, vegan collagen | One jar of each |
| Fragrance | Fragrance-free | Fragrance-free | Fragrance-free |
| Pairs | 30 | 30 | 60 |
| Price | A$55 | A$55 | A$99 |
| A$ per pair | 1.83 | 1.83 | 1.65 |
The AM (pink) and PM (purple) masks are new this October. If you want both, the AM + PM Eye Ritual is one jar of each: 60 pairs for A$99, or A$1.65 a pair, with free shipping Australia-wide. Both masks are free from parabens, sulphates, drying alcohol, retinol and mineral oil.
What to look for in an under-eye mask
- Price per pair, not price per pack. Divide the price by the number of pairs. A cheaper pack with fewer pairs can cost more per use.
- Shipping. Free shipping only above a minimum can add several dollars to a single jar.
- Ingredients you want. Caffeine and vitamin C are common morning picks. Peptides and bakuchiol, a plant-based alternative to retinol, are common evening picks.
- Fragrance. If you prefer no added fragrance, check the ingredient list for "fragrance" or "parfum".
- Jar or pouch. Jars cost less per pair; use the spatula and close the lid after each use. Pouches suit travel.
- Wear time. Most brands say 10 to 20 minutes. Follow the directions for the mask you buy, and don't sleep in them.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best under-eye mask in Australia?
It depends on your budget and what you want from it. On price per pair, the 30-pair jars we checked ranged from A$0.50 (Petitfée) to A$1.83 (Kenzina single jars), and Kenzina's AM + PM Eye Ritual works out at A$1.65 a pair.
How much should under-eye masks cost per pair?
In our 26 October 2026 check, jars cost between A$0.50 and A$2.46 a pair. Single pouches usually cost more, often several dollars a pair.
Are jars or single pouches better?
Jars cost less per pair and suit a daily habit. Single pouches are handy for travel or a one-off event.
How long should you leave under-eye masks on?
Kenzina masks go on for 15 minutes. Other brands say between 10 and 20 minutes, so follow the directions on the pack.
Are the AM and PM under-eye masks fragrance-free?
Yes. There is no fragrance in the ingredients of the AM (pink) or PM (purple) mask.
Are Kenzina masks vegan?
Yes. Every Kenzina product is vegan, and the collagen in our masks is vegan collagen.
Is an under-eye mask the same as an eye mask for sleeping?
No. An under-eye mask is a gel patch you wear under the eye for a short time. A sleep mask is a fabric cover that blocks light while you sleep.
